shell 是介於軟體和系統間的溝通 Interface。
shell 的概念：
1. 透過 shell 可以與系統進行互動
2. shell 能以自動化或是腳本的方式將使用者的操作紀錄，並進行執行
3. 是一個程式語言，有變數、條件式等
4. 可以簡單的建立程式，該程式一樣可以執行其它的 UNIX 程式相同的操作
